Stephanie and Jacob's Engagement Pictures

Stephanie and Jacob's May 16 wedding is coming up fast! Today we set out to capture what has become one of my favorite parts of working with a couple on their wedding journey... the engagement pictures. It's a GREAT way for me to connect with the couple.

A rainy Saturday morning met us but the weather was no match for Jacob's great attitude and Stephanie's beautiful smile! As a matter of fact, Jacob's a pretty cool guy and I've had a blast hanging out with him! He is working with me to do some video production on a couple of weddings I'm working on.

We spent a fun, relaxed and wet day together. Stephanie brought her mom and sister along and we had some pretty funny conversation over lunch at Sticky Fingers Rock 'n Roll Chicken Shack!

We shot at some pretty unusual locations along with a few more traditional places. All in all I'm very happy with the way the pictures turned out. I've included a few of my faves. The rest will be available in the next day or so on the on-line proofing section of my website.

I can't wait till Friday to shoot Steph's bridal portrait!

Meaghan Dunn Bridal Portrait - March 20, 2009

Meaghan Dunn's wedding is just around the corner and today we took the bridal portraits. Meaghan is planned to display a 16x20 print at her reception. After snapping a few hundred shots at the big Pentecostal church in North Little Rock, she might have a tough time picking out the "best" one!

We had pre-booked the church several weeks in advance, but a scheduling mix-up found us in the middle of a HUGE conference in the main sanctuary! Meaghan had already spent the money to have her hair and make-up (and it looked fantastic!) so we were doing this shoot no matter what!

Despite it all, Meaghan kept her cool and was wonderful to work with. With her supportive mom in-tow, we spent about two hours posing shots in the limited space available to us. All-in-all, we took some really cool shots and I've included a few "teasers". The rest will be available for viewing (not you Daniel!) on the main web page following the "client gallery" link.

Wedding Day, March 14 - Amanda & Jason Horton

We packed up the truck on Friday and headed on down to Texarkana, Texas for the wedding of Amanda Raney and Jason Horton. Although we ended up with dull, overcast and rainy day, we still had a blast and took some fantastic shots! Amanda and Jason are two of the coolest people I've met in this business.
