Amanda & Jason's Rehersal Dinner

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding for a fantastic couple in Texarkana, Amanda Raney was wed to Jason Horton. On Friday night, I met the couple after "wedding practice" at Zapata's mexican restaurant for the rehearsal dinner.

The night was filled with lots of laughter, hugs, speeches and tears. Proud parents and enthusiastic friends made sure the soon-to-be newlyweds knew how loved and blessed they are!

The following pictures were taken at the dinner.

Thanks for making me a part of you special night Amanda and Jason!

Callie and Gretchen's Dress-Trashin'

Callie and Gretchen were the models for the second portion of my "Trash The Dress" shoot. The inspiration for this shoot was found in high-fashion style of photography utilizing colored lighting and off-beat poses. Both girls jumped right in and once again, we all had a great deal of fun!

As a side note... no wedding dresses were harmed in the filming of my shoot, however, dress trashing danger lurked around every corner and they were definitely put at great risk!

Thanks again to Callie and Gretchen. Also, special thumbs up to my most excellent hosts Justin and Crissy Graddy in snowy (and crazy cold) Minneapolis!

Trash The Dress!

I left sunny and warm Little Rock on Monday and headed for a very cold Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was meeting up with my good friends Justin and Chrissy Graddy of Graddy Photography (graddyphotography.com) for a special bridal shoot.

This shoot was designed to build an artistic and exciting segment of my business called "Trash The Dress" - And that is exactly what we did!

I've uploaded a few pictures of our cold and muddy day. I'll be using these pictures along with many others to build a new segment of my web-site to promote the artistic side of my photography.

Special thanks to Justin and Chrissy for putting up with me for the week, Geoff for allowing his beautiful wife to trash her dress. Most importantly, to a very patient, fun-loving and special model Lyndsay. I had a BLAST!
